Macaulay Heights Park

By Suzanne Sawyer on October 26, 2021November 1, 2021

Macaulay Heights Park protects a typical second-growth Douglas fir forest ecosystem with groves of Red alder. The understory is dominated by Salal with some Sword fern, Oregon grape and Red huckleberry. A Douglas fir plantation thrives in the open portion of the park.
A pleasant short walk in a woods.
